The people who work for the Donald Trump campaign should be ashamed of themselves. Working for an obvious racist, misogynist, bigot should be a career-ender, but unfortunately that’s not usually how it works in politics.
This is just my attempt to catalog the names of people who worked for the Trump campaign. There are obviously more, Tweet me any names so I can add them to this list.
If you’re like me, you’ve never heard of A.J. Delgado. Delgado is a Trump “campaign senior advisor.” Of all of the people I have listed here, Delgado has the most to lose by working for Trump. She’s young. She’s educated. She’s pretty. But when this is all over and Trump loses, Delgado will be caste out of the political arena. The good news for Delgado is that Trump has no viable path to victory in November. Trump losing will be great for her because had Delgado ended up working for a Trump administration, she’d be one of the many sitting in front of war crimes tribunal attempting to explain their hideous acts of violence.
Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the daughter of former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee, joined Trump’s campaign communication staff in September 2016. Since February, Huckabee Sanders has been a “senior adviser” for the Trump campaign. According to The Hill, she said, “What makes Mr. Trump my choice for president is he will break the grip of the donor class on our government and make it accountable to working families again.”
Trump’s new CEO is Steve Bannon, a former Naval officer and political hack. After the Navy, Bannon worked at Goldman Sachs and eventually started his own investment bank with fellow Goldman colleagues. After his investment banking career, he started making films. In 2004, he wrote and directed “In the Face of Evil: Reagan’s War in Word and Deed.” In 2010 he made “Battle for America,” a documentary about the so-called “tea party.” And he made a film about Sarah Palin. He once claimed that it is Roger Ailes who is keeping this country afloat and that if Ailes goes, so goes America. I guess, we’re about to see how wrong Bannon is. Like most people working for Trump, Bannon has no actual political experience, other than running his mouth at Breitbart “News” and making trashy “documentaries.”
Trump’s new campaign manager is Kellyanne Conway. Conway is a pollster. She says stupid things like, Trump is better for women than Hillary Clinton. She whines about the media coverage of Trump, like all good Trumpettes. Like Bannon, she’s a political hack.
